Rag Readers' Poll
After two turbulent, unsuccessful years as head coach of the Detroit Lions, in which the team compiled a dismal 5-27 record, Marty Mornhinweg was finally fired by Matt Millen and replaced by former 49'ers head coach and Michigan State alum, Steve Mariucci.
What do Rag Readers think of Mornhinwegs dismissal?
"Just for fun, they should have kept seeing how bad a coach they could hire each time. Like after Mornhinweg, they should have hired Rich Kotite, followed by a komodo dragon, followed by a half-digested Quiznos pastrami-and-cheddar sub." Peter A., Aurora, CO
"Bout time Mariucci came back to Michigan. Cocksucker owes me $10 bucks." J. Edwards, Troy, MI
"I take solace in the fact that Mornhinwegs firing answers higher spiritual questions, for instance, I now know that God doesnt just assign that sad, pathetic Im-going-to-be-canned-any-second-now-because-I-dont-know-what-the-hells-going-on-here face at random." D.Jens, Santa Clara, CA

"Once again, an African-American was wrongfully bypassed for a head coaching opportunity. And once again, I can virtually guarantee that it has something to do with Mark Paul Gosselaar." (right) Shelly T., St. Paul, MN
"Hey, 5 outta 27 aint bad. Last time I played Whack-a-Mole® I only got, what, three of them cocky, flea-bitten sumbitches?" Dennis O., Homestead, FL
"I think it's Millen who should be fired. And he should fire himself by standing in front of the mirror wearing a tattered ball gown and screaming, Youre fired you dirty, filthy little boy so Grammy has to clean your filthy bottom with steel wool and bleach because youre dirty and filthy and rotten! just like I do every night at exactly 3:27 a.m." - Michael P., Texarkana, AK
